Cybersecurity training for employees that people actually remember

Practical cybersecurity training for employees of companies in Canada, the UK, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Pakistan. Short sessions, realistic phishing simulation campaigns and clear results, so your staff become your strongest defence instead of the easiest way in.

Overview

Why cybersecurity training for employees matters

Most successful attacks still begin with a person. Someone opens an attachment, types a password into a fake login page or pays an invoice that was sent by a criminal pretending to be a supplier. Firewalls and antivirus help, but they cannot stop a member of staff who has been convinced to let the attacker in.

Good cybersecurity training for employees changes that. Not with a long annual video that people click through while answering email, but with short, regular, realistic practice. People learn what phishing looks like in their own inbox, what to do when something feels wrong, and that reporting a mistake quickly is always better than hiding it.

Our cybersecurity training is built around your company, your systems and the scams your industry actually sees. We measure progress with phishing simulation campaigns and report results in a way management can understand.

What our cybersecurity training for employees includes:

  • Live workshops on site or online
  • Short online lessons staff can finish in minutes
  • Phishing simulation campaigns with safe landing pages
  • Role based sessions for finance, executives and IT
  • Training for new joiners on day one
  • Monthly reports on clicks, reports and completion

Training topics

Security awareness training topics that match real attacks

We choose topics from what is happening to companies like yours, and keep each one short and practical.

Spotting phishing emails

How to check the sender, the links and the request. The most useful skill in any security awareness training, practised with real examples.

Invoice fraud and fake supplier phishing

Finance teams learn the warning signs of business email compromise, when a criminal changes bank details on a real looking invoice, and how to verify by phone.

Passwords and multifactor sign in for staff

Why reused passwords are dangerous, how a password manager helps and why staff should never approve a sign in prompt they did not start.

Social engineering by phone and message

Social engineering is not only email. Staff practise handling calls, WhatsApp messages and visitors who pretend to be IT support or a senior manager.

Staff working safely from anywhere

Public WiFi, shared computers, lost phones and home routers: simple habits that keep company data safe outside the office.

Staff reporting phishing without fear

How to report a suspicious message or a mistake in seconds, and why fast reporting matters more than never clicking.

Phishing simulation

How our phishing simulation campaigns work

A phishing simulation is a safe, fake phishing email sent to your staff to see who spots it. We design each one to look like the real messages people receive: a parcel delivery notice, a shared document, a password expiry warning, an urgent request from a manager. Nothing harmful happens if someone clicks. Instead they see a short, friendly page explaining what they missed.

Over a few months the numbers tell the story. Fewer people click, more people report, and they report faster. Those are the measures that matter, because a company where suspicious emails are reported within minutes can stop an attack before it spreads. We share the results with you every month, along with the two or three lessons the latest campaign taught us about where your staff need more help.

Our phishing simulation rules:

  • Realistic emails based on current scams
  • No harmful links or attachments
  • Instant teaching page for anyone who clicks
  • Report button tracking for those who spot it
  • Results by department, never public shaming

Culture

Security awareness training without blame

People who feel blamed hide mistakes, and hidden mistakes are what turn a small incident into a big one. That is why our security awareness training never names and shames. Results are shared by team, individuals who struggle get extra coaching in private, and managers are encouraged to thank people who report, even when it turns out to be a false alarm.

We also avoid simulation tricks that damage trust, such as fake pay rises or bonuses. They may catch more clicks, but they leave staff feeling tricked by their own employer. Training only works when people believe it is on their side. In our experience, the companies with the lowest click rates are not the ones with the strictest rules but the ones where staff feel comfortable saying, out loud, that they think something looks wrong.

Evidence

Proving cybersecurity training for employees works

Clients, insurers and auditors increasingly ask for proof that staff are trained. ISO 27001 includes awareness as a control, and many national frameworks expect a formal programme. We give you records of who completed which training, phishing simulation results over time and a short yearly summary you can attach to questionnaires.

For practical advice you can share with staff between sessions, the UK National Cyber Security Centre guidance on phishing is clear and free to use.

Together

Security awareness training alongside testing and audits

Security awareness training works best with the rest of our cybersecurity services. A security audit shows which people risks matter most, and penetration testing can include social engineering tests with your permission.

Technical controls help staff too. Multifactor sign in and good email filtering in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace stop many attacks before anyone sees them. If you already run Nexora, you can also track completion of security courses in the Nexora training module alongside your other mandatory training.

FAQ

Security awareness training FAQs

What is security awareness training?

Security awareness training teaches staff to recognise and report phishing, social engineering and other scams, and to follow simple habits that protect company data. Ours combines short sessions with regular phishing simulation campaigns.

How often should cybersecurity training for employees run?

A live session when the programme starts, short refreshers every month or quarter and phishing simulation emails throughout the year work far better than one long annual course.

Is a phishing simulation safe?

Yes. Our phishing simulation emails contain no harmful links or attachments. Anyone who clicks simply sees a short page explaining what they missed and how to spot it next time.

Will staff be named if they click a phishing simulation?

No. We report results by team and coach individuals privately. Blaming people makes them hide mistakes, which is the opposite of what good security needs.

Can you run cybersecurity training in Urdu?

Yes. Sessions are delivered in English, and in Urdu for teams in Pakistan who prefer it.

Do you offer security awareness training in Saudi Arabia and Qatar?

Yes. We offer security awareness training in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as well as Canada, the UK, the UAE and Pakistan, on site or online.

What should cybersecurity training for employees cover?

Cybersecurity training for employees should cover phishing, passwords and multifactor sign in, safe use of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, payment fraud, mobile devices and how to report something odd. We keep each lesson short and repeat the topics through simulated phishing.
