ApexGenTech is a software house founded in 2023, with offices in Canada, the UK, the UAE and Pakistan. We help businesses use AI and software to work smarter, save time and grow. We build our own products, create custom software for our clients, connect business systems, and guide companies through a world of technology that changes every month.

The ApexGenTech Story

ApexGenTech started as a small software house in 2023 with a simple idea: technology should make running a business easier, not harder.

Our founders spent many years working inside real organizations, including large and demanding environments where systems have to work every single day. They saw the same problems again and again. Teams buried in spreadsheets. Important dates missed. Systems that didn’t talk to each other. Expensive software that nobody fully used. And more recently, businesses hearing a lot about AI but not knowing how to actually use it.

So we set out to fix those problems properly. We started by building our own products, because we wanted to prove we could make software that people truly rely on. Nexora grew into a full business operations platform. Dijan was built for small businesses and shops that need simple invoicing and ERP. EALW was created to make learning fun for young children from Kindergarten to Grade 5.

Along the way, more and more businesses asked us for help with their own technology. Today, ApexGenTech offers AI integration, AI automation and AI consulting, custom software development, SAP integration, software licensing, cybersecurity, web development, SEO, digital marketing and IT support, all from one team working across Canada, the UK, the UAE and Pakistan, with clients in Saudi Arabia and Qatar as well.

Leadership

Meet Our Leadership Team

Ghufran Khan

Founder and CEO

Ghufran founded ApexGenTech in 2023 and leads the company’s vision, products and technology. He brings close to 20 years of hands on experience in IT, covering systems administration, network security, cloud infrastructure, virtualization and enterprise integrations. Over his career, he has led IT teams as a senior IT manager in Pakistan and worked in large, demanding enterprise and healthcare environments in Canada, where systems must be secure and available around the clock.

That experience shapes how ApexGenTech builds software as a software house. Ghufran is the architect and lead developer of Nexora, the company’s flagship business operations platform, which brings help desk, asset management, software licence tracking, visitor management, transport, fleet, maintenance, work permits, training and health and safety into one system. He designed Nexora with the same focus on security and reliability that large organizations expect.

Ghufran holds well known industry certifications, including ITIL v5, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He has also completed training in building responsible generative AI solutions with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, and he drives ApexGenTech’s focus on AI integration, AI automation and AI consulting. He studied a Master of Information Technology (MIT) and is based in Canada. His security background is also behind ApexGenTech’s cybersecurity services.

Hamza Shahbaz

Co-Founder and Managing Director

Hamza helped found ApexGenTech and leads the company’s day to day operations from Pakistan. He oversees client projects, delivery and team growth, making sure every project is completed on time and every client gets the support they were promised.

Hamza brings strong experience in IT services and business management. Alongside ApexGenTech, he manages Baxvil LTD, a global IT managed service provider, which gives him deep, practical knowledge of supporting businesses, running service agreements and keeping client systems healthy. This experience is a big part of ApexGenTech’s IT support and SLA services.

He also holds certifications in SEO and business writing, and brings a good understanding of digital marketing and clear client communication. Hamza studied at Virtual University of Pakistan and leads ApexGenTech’s growth across Pakistan.

Nava Abideh

Head of Sales, North America

Nava leads ApexGenTech’s sales and client relationships across Canada and the United States from our Canada office. She works closely with businesses to understand their goals, challenges and budgets, and then matches them with the right mix of AI solutions, products and services.

Nava is often the first person new clients speak with. She makes sure every conversation starts with listening, not selling, and stays involved to make sure clients are happy long after a project begins. She plays a key role in bringing Nexora, AI consulting and software licensing to businesses across North America.
