Dijan ERP: FBR POS and digital invoicing that never stops selling

Run your whole business and stay FBR compliant. Dijan ERP brings fast retail POS, inventory, accounting and payroll together with FBR digital invoicing in one cloud system for Pakistan, and keeps selling even when the internet drops.

Overview

Why FBR digital invoicing needs a proper system

The Federal Board of Revenue now expects many retailers and registered businesses in Pakistan to issue invoices that are reported to FBR in real time, each with its own FBR invoice number and QR code. Getting it wrong can mean fines, audits or, in the worst cases, a sealed shop. Doing it by hand on the FBR portal is slow and easy to get wrong at a busy counter.

Most shops also live with patchy internet and load shedding. Many cloud systems simply stop when the connection drops, which means a queue at the till and lost sales. And the numbers are spread everywhere: a cash book, an Excel stock sheet, receipts on WhatsApp and a separate accounting ledger that never quite agrees with the others.

Dijan ERP solves all of that in one place. Every sale on the FBR POS gets digital invoicing automatically, stock and accounts update by themselves, and the POS keeps working offline and syncs with FBR when the connection comes back.

What Dijan ERP gives you:

  • FBR digital invoicing with invoice number and QR code on every sale
  • Offline FBR POS that queues invoices and syncs later
  • Sales tax, further tax and provincial tax worked out for you
  • Inventory across shops and warehouses
  • Accounts, bank reconciliation and payroll
  • English and Urdu screens, light and dark mode

Dijan ERP features built for businesses in Pakistan

Everything a retailer, wholesaler or distributor needs, in one system that your team can learn in a day.

FBR digital invoicing on autopilot

Every invoice is stamped with an FBR invoice number and a QR code that customers can verify. At month end, Dijan ERP prepares your sales tax return data for the FBR IRIS portal, including the input tax adjustments under Section 8B.

An offline FBR POS that keeps selling

Load shedding or an internet cut does not stop the counter. Dijan ERP keeps billing offline, stores each invoice securely and sends everything to the cloud and FBR the moment the connection returns.

Fast FBR POS with camera or scanner

Scan barcodes with a USB or Bluetooth scanner, or use the camera on any phone, tablet or laptop. Take cash, card, bank transfer, Raast QR or customer credit, and print thermal receipts with the FBR badge.

Inventory across every branch

See stock in real time across shops and warehouses, get reorder alerts, transfer stock between branches and value inventory using FIFO or weighted average cost.

Accounts, sales tax and payroll

Daily cash book, bank reconciliation, customer ledgers and khata statements, fixed assets, attendance and monthly payroll, all fed automatically from your sales and purchases.

WhatsApp receipts and Urdu POS screens

Send customers their invoice on WhatsApp the moment a sale is complete, and let staff switch every screen between English and Urdu with one click.

Dijan ERP is built for the sales tax rules that apply in Pakistan. Tax rules change, and Dijan ERP is updated as they do.

Where we work

Dijan ERP for FBR and provincial sales tax across Pakistan

Federal sales tax on goods goes to FBR; sales tax on services is collected by each province. Dijan ERP handles both.

Punjab: FBR and PRA

For shops and service businesses in Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan and across Punjab, Dijan ERP handles FBR sales tax on goods and Punjab Revenue Authority tax on services.

Sindh: FBR and SRB

Retailers and distributors in Karachi and across Sindh get FBR digital invoicing for goods and Sindh Revenue Board tax for services in one system.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: FBR and KPRA

Businesses in Peshawar and across the province can apply Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority rates alongside FBR sales tax.

Balochistan: FBR and BRA

Dijan ERP supports Balochistan Revenue Authority tax on services for businesses in Quetta and beyond.

Islamabad and multi city FBR accounts

Companies with branches in several cities see every shop and warehouse in one Dijan ERP account, with the right tax for each location.

Wholesale sales tax and distribution

Distributors selling to registered and unregistered buyers get further tax, third schedule retail price tax and withholding tax handled automatically.

Sales tax

Pakistani sales tax rules handled for you

Pakistani sales tax is not one simple rate. Standard sales tax applies to most goods, further tax applies when you sell to unregistered buyers, some items are taxed on their printed retail price under the third schedule, services are taxed by the provinces, and input tax adjustments are capped under Section 8B. Doing all of that by hand on every invoice is where mistakes creep in.

Dijan ERP checks each buyer’s registration using their NTN or CNIC, applies the right rate for each item and records everything for your return. Your accountant gets clean data instead of a pile of receipts, and you can produce withholding tax certificates under Section 153 when buyers need them.

Tax rules Dijan ERP works out for you:

  • Standard sales tax on goods
  • Further tax for unregistered buyers
  • Third schedule tax on printed retail price
  • Provincial sales tax on services
  • Section 8B input tax adjustment
  • Withholding tax certificates

The counter

An FBR POS your cashiers will actually like

Dijan ERP’s POS is designed for busy counters. Products can be found by barcode, name or code, or picked from a touch friendly grid. Payments can be split across cash, card and Raast QR. At the end of each shift, the cashier closes the drawer, counts the cash and Dijan ERP shows any difference straight away in a Z report.

Staff can switch the whole system to Urdu with one click and choose dark mode for long evening shifts. Because Dijan ERP runs in any modern browser and installs as an app, you can start with the laptop or tablet you already have and add a thermal printer and scanner when you are ready.

Compliance

Built around FBR rules, kept up to date

Dijan ERP is built to the FBR digital invoicing rules under Section 40C of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 and Rule 150ZEG of the Sales Tax Rules, and connects to FBR through PRAL. When FBR changes its requirements, we update Dijan ERP so you do not have to chase the changes yourself. You can read the official notices on the Federal Board of Revenue website.

Dijan ERP is a cloud system where each business sees only its own records, and its audit trail shows who sold, changed or approved what, which helps when an accountant or tax officer asks questions.
